However, gather manager is unable to control the speed at which trees/ores are farmed/mined. What I need is hitting a tree with an axe once, and it falls down. The same for ores, hit a node with a pickaxe once, and it is fully mined.

such a plugin doesn't mean that, but for what? when you set up a gather manager, after one stroke you'll have enough resources for 10 years: Just set it up

The reason why I'm looking for such plugin is because it just looks good within a high gather rate server. It's supposed to be a fast-paced experience rather than going round smacking trees and ores. I know for sure such plugin exists because I've seen it on at least two high gather rate servers.
