Hey!
I am a community, server owner & admin currently hosting a medium-high pop monthly wipe 2X Vanilla+ (the plus indicates slightly modded). The community is about to grow beyond our managable size and is putting higher expectations on Staff presence. It is currently within the top 20 ranked servers on Gametracker.
So right now we're looking for two mature, passionate and experienced Rust players that might, but doesn't need to have experience from Moderation or Server hosting from before.
It does not matter much what your age or occupation is as long as you got a strong will and a good common sense and regularly feeds back with me & our other staff members.
What we expect from a Moderator
Actively present in the chat building good relationships with the players
Enforces server rules by warning, muting, kicking or banning when necessary
Resolves tickets made by players in our ticketing system
Resolves griefing incidents fairly and objectively according to rules
Regularly in touch with me (server owner) about the daily operations
Helps out hosting in-server events.
Does not play on the server (unless being a chat mod).
Compensation
Paying server bills is #1, I've put a lot of time and money from my own to make the server as popular as it is today. But if you do a really good job that sticks out I wouldn't think twice to reward you for it.
General Requirements
Good communication skills, written or spoken
Got lots of time to spare to go into Rust
Mature and capable of taking responsibilities seriously
Able to take criticism and feedback from the rest of the team
+ if you have experience from running Rust servers on your own
+ if you have moderating experience from before
+ if you are from a nordic country, which many of our players are
== Bonus skills (For upcoming technical server related roles) ==
+ Previous server admin/moderator experience
+ Previous server hosting experience
+ Any technical gameserver knowledge in Linux or Windows
+ Scripting (Bash and/or Powershell)
+ Developing (C# uMod development for Rust)
+ Programming in general
+ Virtualization (KVM/LXC)
