Good morning folks.
Keep an eye on for users with advertisements depending on the website twityhosting. These users are underaged, trying to search for game servers where they could become an admin or moderator or team member.
Normally, i would always say no, it has to be done on long terms yadieyadieya but because of the corona, I thought. let's throw my cards on the table, see what it does and what would happen. Everyone is sitting at home, doing nothing and I have enough space for a few extra servers so why not.
Sadly, it comes to my attention that they used my servers in their scam project. They lure users with cheap hosting prices, says that they have active admins on it for them as an extra benefit for that "premium" content of them but in reality, it was still my game server.
it tokes me 48H to find out what the issue was. But, within that time, they were able to scam 3 users with their tricks. In the meanwhile, police have been informed about it but i also like to share this with you folks. In case someone would be popping up your discord or server, claiming to be from twity hosting or being a "streamer" for youtube but doenst even have 100 subs.
Presuming they tried to steal maps as their main goal as well. There was a load of "questions" when it came to mapping and kept asking for the password because he wanted to "see" something.
