Whats is rustphp?
rustphp is a web CMS designed for Rust. The goal of this project is to provide a website that extends the server for vanilla and modded servers.
-Features:
-News: A simple news system using BBCode. [Done]
-Links: A module in order to give the discord, steamgroups and server link [Done]
-Vote: Vote and reclaim your rewards on the CMS, fully automatic [Done, but needs some adjustments]
-Shop: A way to help the server. Administrator can sell ranks, kits, objects, paypal support, fully automatic. [Done, but needs some adjustments]
-Player number: Everyone can see how much people are connected on the server. [Done]
-FAQ: A faq to display rules and to give responses to unanswered questions [Not started]
-Support: If players have issues (payment issues, connection issues ects..) [Not started]
Requierements:
-A PHP server (at least PHP 5.6).
-MySQL PDO.
-cURL.
-The port 28016 must be open on the php server.
-+rcon web 0.
If you are using a dedicated server to host your rust server, it shouldnt be too hard to meet this requierements.
Else, you can find a lot of web hosters on the internet, but make sure they will accept to open the port, this is crucial,
without the port open, the shop, the server status and the vote system won't work.
For now, i'm using the source engine protocol, but once the design of the CMS will be done, I will make it run on websocket.
Release date:
I have no release date in mind for now, but it should come out in a few weeks, my current deadline is the 21/10/2018.
The bigger part to do is the design. Because for now I find some pages ugly.
It will be available in French and in English.
Once it will be released, I will push updates on a regular basis to optimize and keep the CMS up-to-date with all the different
features, once the CMS design will be fully finished (responsive design, optimized). I will work on the websocket and then push
a final update. Then all next updates will be to keep the CMS running.
Price:
I'm not sure if the CMS will be free or not. Since there is a shop, it's not a crime to sell it.
For now, I can't tell if this will be free or not. It will depend on donations, but if it's not free, it will be between
5€ and 10€. If they are people on your server, this refund will be fast.
If will also depend on my motivation, free means less update, less support and less documentation.
