NPCs recommended approachSolved

Hi im using MonumentAddons to add more npcs (dwellers, scientists, bandits guards and peacekeepers) to some monuments for a PvE server, ive seem others doing the same, so i wonder should i try to do it with other plugins like HumanNPC? the main reason is because my NPCs spawned with MA are not taking explosives damage and are completely static, only moving a little while engaged in combat. I managed to get them to respawn using TimedExecute realoading MA every 30min. Also i know there r some paid plugins for that, but im looking for a free one.

If you are going to spawn NPCs ith MA, use spawn points/groups, don't place them with maspawn. Vanilla uses spawn points and groups so you can get close to vanilla behavior. The main issue is that if you place an NPC in a new place, the vanilla behavior may not be suitable so it can behave dumb like you mentioned.

The experience with the paid NPC plugins like BotRespawn and BetterNpc is going to be better since they are specialized in NPCs whereas MA has very little functionality affecting targeting NPCs. I'd like to improve MA in this regard but it's going to be a significant amount of work and I'll need feedback from users to help. Previously, people just go and install paid NPC plugins so they don't have to wait.

Ok, managed to use spawngroups and points but as u said, npcs where behaving weirdly (leaving their location to a far off point and stading still) but at least the explosion damage issue got fixed. If u need my feedback i think i can help. If u decide to put some time into It of course. Anyway thanks for MA is an awesome Tool!
