I'm experiencing an issue where even after installing the plugin and booting the server, it is not creating the config file.
Should I delete and re-install?

Hey, this is most likely related to the server not being fully initialized when you load the plugin. This is something I need to fix through an update.
You can just reload the plugin whenever the server is fully started to fix this temporarily (only needed to initially create the file).

I believe someone had this issue a month ago if I read correctly. A JSON file isn't being created when I downloaded the plugin.
I posted a temp fix in above, its something I will adress in a future update.

Ok...so TOTAL NOOB here. But how do I reload the plugin? I tried the oxide.reload one from the F1 and from chat...I hope I typed it right...Like I said...noob and I am learning about all this as I go. TY in advance.

Ty for the prompt responce. I think I added myself as admin properly a little bit ago...good time to go check. You lost me on rcon and server console though. If you have time I would love to know what those are and how to access them.

Hmmm...ok..it said I do not have permission to use the oxide.reload command. Maybe I did something wrong in adding myself as admin..

Server consol is f1 in game in the server, rcon is a way to access f1 in the server but through your server host (so your not in game, in your server in rust, your just accessing f1 from a different platform which is rcon)
I would love to answer any questions you may have about owning a server / making a server. You can pm me anytime. I use game server kings for my server hosting, idk if you use them but they make all this a bit easier as well.
I am having an issue with this as well. Server is fully intialized and live in the modded section. still no JSON file to edit in the config folder. I am on GameServerKings as my server host.
Edit: and I have tried everything from above. Still no go.
Im getting this problem too, I made my own config file with the config entree but server doesnt seem to recognize it
a yr later and the bug is still plagueing the plugin . just bad buisiness man.
