[Lusty Map] [Warning] Your map is still in the queue to be generated. Checking again in 10 seconds so after a half hour I did resetmap and I still get nothing but [Lusty Map] [Warning] Your map is still in the queue to be generated. Checking again in 10 seconds ? what do I do ?
Same here... I don't think BeanCan is even maintained anymore..?
Hey everyone, just a notification. You can also get a map image, either for a custom map, or a Procedural map created by Rust.
To do this, download RustEdit from https://www.rustedit.io
Then, once opened, it requires your Rust files, usually found under the [Steam installation directory]\steamapps\common\Rust folder, then it will load up.
Once that is done, on your server, look under the server root folder and locate the SERVER subfolder. Either there may be another subfolder, or not. But there will be a .map extension file. If it is Procedural Map, it will be called procedural.3000.1.198.map or something like that, (Seed: 1, Size: 3000) for the month of September 2020. Otherwise, a custom map will be like custommap.198.map, whatever the map filename is.
These files can both be opened by RustEdit, just select Load Map, choose Select, get the file, the Load.
Once inside, press G to generate the map image preview, there you can save the image to a file, and done!
This image can be used to load with Lusty Map. I do reccommend a 1024 size for 4000, but you may choose any.

there you have it. there is nothing more to add. if you can't do what @gpsmit84 explains, then don't use this plugin.
