Server is updated with latest version, so clients as well.
I've used the resetmap many times, also reloading imagelibrary with no result to the kicking when players opens the map. Minimap runs fine.
I run with the map.jpg option instead of beancan. The image is even scaled down as I thought it could possibly help, no luck though.
Anyway this is what happens when any players on my server opens the large map (just typing xxxx for all the unneeded info):
