A player on our server recently discovered that they can duplicate items via the following method using jPipes:

Place 2 boxes about a foundation apart.
Set a pipe.
Upgrade it to armored.
Put c4 in the pipe as a filtered item.
Grab the c4 from the filter list and throw it out like you are throwing away an item.
Hit tab as you release and start clicking your pick up button.
Works much better if you are looking toward the ground so that the item gets thrown into the corner of the pipe and ground.
You have between 1/4 and 1/2 second to grab the item that is sent out.

First of all, thanks for the detailed steps to reproduce the dupe bug. I'll have to try it out later this week to see if I can reproduce it.

There is already some code in place to prevent this kind of duplication, but something might have broke it in a recent rust update.

I discovered this issue almost 3 years ago and until this day its still there.
