I have the backpacks.retrieve premission. I have 2000 wood in my backpack. I am trying to place a foundation and it says I can't afford to place it. I have the same message if I put it in my bag of holding inside of the backpack. If I put the bag of holding in my main inventory with the wood inside of it, I can build.

Have you enabled retrieve on your backpack itself? When you open it, there should be a button to toggle retrieve access (for each page) just like for gather mode.

What do you see if you put the Bag of Holding inside your inventory? That doesn't require any permission or button so that should be a good indicator of whether the plugin is working in general.

I didn't notice the retrieve option. I will look at that.
