Hey there, thanks for your excellent plugin!

I'm running a PvE server, and sadly players don't always announce looting of airdrops in chat - despite that being a rule. I wonder if it would be possible to add airdrop looting announcements "Player xy is looting the airdrop in map square X99" in global chat through Inbound plugin. Like the message which is broadcast when a player starts hacking a locked crate. That would add quality of life to our PvE server and remove frustration amongst players. And I could ditch another rule and have my players enjoy the game.

Scrap that - I've created my own minimal plugin which is doing those particular announcements.

However, I don't agree to older comments stating that looting of an airdrop is not "inbound" and therefore out of scope. With the same argumentation also the message shouldn't be sent to chat when somebody is hacking a locked crate. It is the same kind of thing ... but be it

Inbound is meant for announcing the start of "events". When someone hacks a crate, it begins an event of sorts, because they have to wait a certain amount of time before looting, and other players can show up to contest it. Same as the airdrop being called in & then dropping to the ground. By the time they're looting it, that's all already happened. There are no messages for the looting of hacked crates either, for the same reason. I understand it would be useful for niche servers, as would a lot of other things that have been suggested, but I don't think the functionality itself fits with this plugin.
