It would be really nice if we could use Monument Addons to spawn these npcs so that their monument position could be retained through a wipe. People have been asking for this for years!

I second this idea!

The current maintainer (Razor) is unlikely to do this as he has created the TalkingNpc paid plugin as sort of a rewrite to this plugin. It has support for monument-relative NPCs.
