is there a way to only let some groups access the npc? say if I set it up as a shop but only want people in group A to use it but not default group ?

you can set the permishion for the npc then only grant the group that perm

I'm not really sure how to do that I currently have four human npc's two I'd like to keep restricted to a certain group the other two would be for everyone to use I dont know how to set a permission to a npc.

open the data/HumanNPC/NpcData.json   find the npc you want to add perms to and change "permission": "humannpc.vip1",

save and reload.

Ts3hosting you were such a big help it worked awesome. Sorry to bother you with anouther question right under the permission command line is a sound command line so I looked at the flags in the plugin list and there is a  flag  sound => recorded sound name how does that work ?  and I download a three second audio clip and get it to play that ? I don't have a mic to record a sound ?
