Is there a way to add a command like '/npc snapshot' or something that will just copy what wearing to the npc. Instead of having to create a kit then associate with it. cause our kits db is getting big and hard to sort through.

I find the easiest way to edit my kits (25) is to redeem it then add remove equipment, as the changes usually only effect a few kits at a time it does not take long or happen very often. the only thing to remember is to edit it first to npconly = false (redeem and change) then edit it again to npconly = true
as all my npconly kits are hidden i dont have to change anything else,
