Events Not Being AnnouncedNot An Issue

After installing this mod (and restarting my server to ensure it was loaded), I went into the game and played about as normal. Next thing I hear is the Patrol Helicopter flying around nearby, but its spawn wasn't announced by the plugin. I'm using the default config file, minus a couple of colour changes; is there something else I'm meant to do?

Every announcement is disabled by default.

Is the helictoper spawn announcement still disabled as you mentioned using default config settings minus a couple of colour changes?

... please excuse me while I facepalm hard enough for my ancestors to feel it. Can't believe I didn't notice that.

Thanks for your time, and apologies for wasting it.

Maybe put a cushion on your hand before you facepalm it into oblivion 😅

Okay, so even after setting the events to True they're still not being announced. Also, the test announcement appears in the same place as default despite me setting the vertical value to 600 and thus expecting to see it further down towards the centre of the screen.

I ran the config file through a JSON validator and it was fine, so I don't know what the problem is. https://pastebin.com/e9jey7hL

Ok so 600 is waaaaaay too big of an increase on that value. You need to look at changes of like 0.01 or 0.1 etc. It moves a lot.

Set it back to 0 first just to make sure you can see the announcements, then increase it little bits at a time.

Ah, that fixed it; I was under the impression it was using pixels, hence why I had it at 600. I thought that would make it appear further down the screen, when in fact it sent it all the way off the screen so nobody could see it.

One thing I've noticed, though, is that the plugin is reporting the wrong grid references for events. For example, a message popped up saying that the Chinook had dropped a crate in I15, but it had actually dropped it at N21 (the airfield). I'm using a procedural map if that makes any difference.

That's odd.

It was definitely tricky to make the grid reference thing accurate but I tested it for the largest size and smallest size to make sure it didn't skew off with the math. I'll have to check that out.

What size is your map?
