Automatic updates for plugins?Solved
I recently created my own private Rust server for friends and family.  I have a few mods/plugins installed.  Is there anything that will automatically check for updates for the mods/plugins that I use?
If not, do I have to browse to each mod/plugin to see if there is a recent update?  Or maybe "watch" each of them and I'll get an alert when they are updated?

Thank you in advance,
Noebody
No updated yet, but on the way. You can already watch for alerts when a plugin updates. In general we would discourage blindly updating though.
Just in case someone hasn't posted the idea yet, not sure if it's even possible in the Rust/Umod environment. Elder Scrolls Online has a handy tool Minion.  You can browse and install mods from Minion, but the real nice feature is that every time you launch Minion it checks to see if there are newer versions of the mods you are using. And then you are given the option to click a button to install all or individual mods.

BTW Wulf, thanks again for the forum replies and the mods you have created.
I'm using Auto Doors and Whitelist..

There is a tool called RSM that does something similar to that for Rust, but unofficial. We will be providing something official with the uMod release.
Hi, the tool Wulf is refering to is called RSMfmx. It has a built in plugin updater (Not auto due to some plugins requiring config rewrites). The plugin updater looks like this: https://rustservermanager.com/

RSMfmx Plugin Updater
