Good morning. 

For the last few days, I have the feeling that the umod website is slowing down sometimes. It now even end up some time to time in a 504 Cloudflare error or into a to many redirects error.



Last night, I had the same issue again after posting a topic related to an issue of a plugin, but after 2 min of endless loading, it just gave it up. Even some other users are having the same issues as I see a lot of users having some duplicated posts without their awareness.

Does anyone else has the same issues of a slow site or getting such pages?

If I may ask, as I assume that the website is hosted on a dedicated server, do you have Gzip applied and such? It saves a sheetmetal ( no cursing ofc :P ) load of performance when it comes towards images. Gzip is a method of compressing files (making them smaller) for faster network transfers. It is also a file format. Compression allows your web server to provide smaller file sizes which load faster for your website users. 

it's even purrtastic as SEO is getting better as well with it. your site spins like a kitty and everyone enjoys. ^^

That happens time to time. Its cloudflare issue

There has been an ongoing attack against the site that we've been mitigating for the past week, so there will be some hiccups as we handle that as well as work on the site. It is not a CloudFlare issue though from what we can tell.

This i have experiencing as well, one error that caught my eye while it happen was something like:

Too many requests to process at this time


Idk if that will help or not, but it's the one time i noticed a error besides the 504
