Adding ranking to groups?Solved
  1. oxide.group set vip “[VIP]” 1
  2. oxide.group set vip1 “[VIP1]” 2
If I'm added to both groups, would I have both groups permission or which one's permesions will I have?

can I do the follow oxide.group set vip 1 just to give it a ranking and not title or do I need to give it title and ranking?

Which ranking is higher and more imported for oxide ranks 1 or 2 or 3?

Thank you
I solved this kind of problem by creating 12 ranks (apart from default and Admin) based on time spent on server using

"PlayerRankings" (2.0.8) by Ankawi  I can then use a Kit reward system where the highest ranks are able to redeem kits for their rank and any rank below theirs, You can also grant permissions (for other plugins) for those rank groups,

The rankings in Oxide groups have no purpose unless plugins utilize them, same as the titles. It is up to plugins how they use them.
Thank you for the feedback Wulf, do you know if Rust Kits https://umod.org/plugins/rust-kits make use of these ranks. I haven't asked the question on their form yet.

Pookins, great idea and ill put it to us. However im try to when you are VIP to only see VIP kits and when you a default player you only see default kits. I know I can manually add and remove them from the groups to only give them that groups perm. However, I have a online shop so when they buy that package they get added to the vip group or to which group that package is assigned. but they stay in the default group becuase they login to the server. I was hoping for priority or ranking options which would have allowed me to give priority over other groups if they are in different groups and only allow them to see the highest ranked group kits, this will also open other posibilities.

thx for the feedback.
No, I don't think any plugin actually makes use of the native title and rank in Oxide, though they should.
