whats with all the broken mods any chance of getting the mods section sorted so we can report broken ones and either get them fixed or archived.

You can post in the plugin’s forum section to report it as broken. I don’t see a need to categorize every plugin that a user received an error for as “broken”. We are planning some changes down the road to handle reports and such that may indicate issues with plugins, but not an entire section.

Plugins do take time and effort to develop, which a lot of the plugins here are very old that were carriers over from our previous site. Many of these have inactive developers, no developer, or overworked developers. Any unmaintained plugins remain available for existing developers to claim them if they’d like to maintain them.
