Typical approval process for plugins?Solved

Hey I have made a plugin called Better Electricity. I'm not trying to rush but I just want to know what the typical approval cycle is and how long that usually takes. Thanks, dbteku

It varies, but I’m slowly getting to them all. My time has been very limited lately as I take care of my daughter pretty much every day most of the day.

Hey man, family comes first. I completely understand.
I have submitted a plugin about a month ago and it was awaiting approval until today when I have made a mistake by merging two patches which I did not knew would result in an update of the plugin. Because I had not intended to release an update for the plugin I had not changed the version number of the plugin so I had two different versions of the plugin with the same version number which I was trying to change by reverting the unwanted update. This did not work so I decided to leave the updated version and instead revert the "base" version so that the updated version would be the only one available.

Long story short, sometime while I was trying to fix my mistake the plugin got rejected and I do not know why because as far as I know it was a pretty unique plugin and I have not violated any of the approval guidelines nor where there any issues with the plugin to my knowledge because it had undergone extensive testing without any issues coming to light.

My question is if it was just a coincidence that the rejection happed at the same time I was desperately trying to fix my mistake, if so what the reason of that rejection was and how I can fix it or if the rejection may have been caused by me reverting and changing the "changelogs" of the different (update) versions etc.

PS: I have re-uploaded my/the Messenger-plugin because I am/was suspecting that the plugin got automatically rejected because of the mess I have caused with merging those two patches and all the stuff I did while trying to fix my mistake.
If I am mistaken I apologise for that and hope that we can work out how to get my plugin approved.
I think it's likely that a reviewer seeing a submission entitled "delete" would think it's reasonable to delete the submission, presumably at the authors request.

When a plugin is rejected it is usually accompanied by a message briefly explaining the rejection, such as "requested by author".  Of all plugin submissions sent to our reviewers, the large majority are fully reviewed by our team of volunteers.

We will happily give you a formal review time permitting.
