Can we make it a required field to add a link to a video or screenshot of the plugin working?
Force Screenshot/Video of Plugin...
There have been requests like this before, but pretty sure that's never going to happen. Many prefer not to use videos since they go out of date and are more difficult to edit later on, as opposed to text documentation, for which you can make iterative improvements over time with low effort. Working with images and videos is also a different skill set than what developers tend to utilize on a daily basis.
Are there particular plugins you have in mind that you are having difficulty understanding?

None in particular, but for some it would be nice to see how they work. For instance, info on a plugin could say "It adds turrets to any door!", but they wouldn't say where on the door, which direction, etc (just an example).
And having a video doesnt always work , For instance Kits plugin had two excellent instructional videos and a mass of documentation and people still managed to create empty kits and in fact are still doing so, it doesnt matter how much information you supply if people dont fully read it .

I somewhat agree, though there are a lot of plugins submitted with terrible grammatical errors and you end up having to take forever to figure it out anyway. And don't get me started on those who try to use html in their "instructions".
