Compiler not responsive after server loadNot An Issue

Hiya lads!
The annoying compiler is getting even more annoying then ussual.

The compiler works initially to compile plugins upon initilizaing the server, but when I try to manuelly reload a plugin (o.reload name - and when installing a new plugin or updating a plugin) afterwards nothing happens eventully it gives the "[Error] Timed out waiting for plugin to be compiled:" message.

Its safe to say having to restart the server everytime you want to apply updates is very annoying.

I have tried deleting "Compiler.exe" to make it reinstall it and I have tried fully reinstalling the server and oxide as well (It goes without saying that I have tried to restart my computer as well)

Anyone have an idea what might be going on here?

Unfortunately the Oxide compiler has some issues that will not be resolved in it. uMod (you are using Oxide) resolves a lot of these issues with a new compiler.

About the only thing you can do with the Oxide compiler is try to narrow down if a plugin is causing it to lock up by ruling them out individually, else restart.

Hmm I'm getting a bit confussed here, I thought "umod" and "oxide" means the same thing?

No, Oxide is what was migrated from oxidemod.org that is currently available for download, uMod is the replacement for it and why this site exists. You can read more under our past announcements.

Does umod rust ship with the old oxide compiler by default?
If so does this new compiler you are talking about support rust?

I would assume the newest releases of umod would use the newest compiler right? sorry unless I'm missunderstanding what you are saying.

There are no releases of uMod yet, and the compiler isn't related to the games specifically. I'm saying that the only solutions are what are provided until uMod is released and you upgrade to that.

Ok then thanks wulf.
