If you're warning a section, you will see notifications for that section. That notitification has nothing to do with watching individual threads.

It doesn't have to be, if the thread was moved from a category he does watch he'll still see the notification. And no, I can't - those aren't logged.

I believe it was moved from Plugin Requests, so that was likely the cause.
