I have one player who is inheriting a permission from the 'default' group that I wish to revoke a single permission for.

like, block access for the one player to a single plugin. But every time I use the revoke user command it seems to be just inheriting the permission from the default group again. can this be done?

You should revoke permissions from default group then, what would it be tho?

There isn't any native way to do that, as players inherit permissions from the groups they are in. If you want to negate an effect, you can add a different permission to check for in that single plugin, else move the other players to a different group instead.
