Actually I had a look through the code and I check if the attacker is the victim, are you on the latest version 1.0.7. Also if you are how did you damage yourself?

Misread sorry, now fixed

With the current version sometimes players are not able to damage other players, making them invulnerable.

This should only occur if they are in a team or friends and one of them has friendly fire disabled

I was playing on my own server building my base when another player started to shoot me, I wasn't in a team or clan, don't know about the other player, but we couldn't damage each other until I unloaded the plugin and every time I hit him the plugin would say I cannot damage my friend.

Just loaded the latest version published a few minutes ago, less than 1 minute and my players already reporting:
