In my server console i get this for every player connected:
[FauxAdmin] RoboShelter[123123123] was processed as a FauxAdmin when they connceted.
There is no fauxadmin.allowed for 'default'

Also curious about this...

Additionally @ColonBlow , we've noticed a tremendous drop in performance after upgrading to 2.0.0. We're seeing drastic spikes of rubberbanding anytime someone joins the server, correlating directly with the 'processed as a FauxAdmin' message above.

I am experiencing the same things.

Any resolution on this?  I had a unknown person connect as a FauxAdmin and cause some havoc on my server today.  

I have the same thing, trying to sort it out.

Been having the issue since this new version as well, that is why I havent used it since. I tried it out again yesterday and today, and it is giving every player that joins FauxAdmin even though its only perms are set for moderator group to do admin work.

Installed this on a friend's Oxide server and created a FauxAdmin permissions group. Gave it only the main `fauxadmin.allowed` permission.

Everything seems to work as advertised with the default config (including users not in FauxAdmin group not being able to do stuff) - except that FauxAdmin group members can't use `god` unless given the specific persmission, despite the default config supposedly enabling global god ability.
