DynamicPVP 4.10.0 Release Notes

Hello everyone! This is just a quick explainer of the new Deep Sea events for the February 2026 Naval Update:

Hackable Crate Event creation can now be suppressed for crates on a ghost ships, just like it could for oil rigs and cargo ships. This is useful for preventing players from discovering which ship has a crate on it before they clear it.

A new Ghost Ship Event has been added, which creates zones around all ghost ships.

A new Deep Sea Island Event has been added, which creates zones around all Deep Sea islands. I am not 100% happy with zone centering and may implement a more fancy method later.

A new Island Cannon Event has been added, which creates zones around all static cannons (currently only found on Deep Sea islands). This is meant to allow for PVP cannon battles between the cannons and player boats (e.g. via Player Base PVP Zones) while still keeping the islands themselves mostly PVE.

PSA:

True PVE's "Allow PVP Damage In Deep Sea" turns the entire Deep Sea into a PVP area. While that is enabled, Dynamic PVP's Deep Sea events are redundant.

The intended purpose of these events is to create smaller PVP zones within an otherwise PVE Deep Sea.
