I just came across something rather frustrating but don't know if it is DynamicPVP, Zone Manager or something else.

I opted to name the zones in Zone Manager using the name flag. Unfortunately, once DynamicPVP is unloaded to edit zones the added names all disappeared and returned to the default of "DynamicPVP." 

I think this is pretty important if I am trying to go through the monuments, tunnels or custom events one at a time and then keep track of the monuments I have worked on. Is there any way to make sure the names stick ?

Dynamic PVP fully manages its own zones. Doing things to them via other plugins is not supported. Zone names are not currently configurable because some plugins unfortunately use them to detect the purpose of the zones, and because I'm not ready to open a can of worms with users doing bad things and then filing support requests.

You can set custom zone IDs, but this is different from zone names, and will result in severe problems in the case of multiple events of the same type (e.g. maps with 2+ gas stations, harbors, lighthouses, mining outposts, supermarkets, Bradleys, air drops, Chinook crates, etc.).

Thanks for this. I understand wrt names and other than it making setting up a little simpler for me I found another pretty simple way to address it that only relies on me making a hard copy of the zones. However, on the topic of colored domes are you suggesting I could be asking for problems if I use Zone Domes to achieve that ? Are colored domes something you have ever considered implementing within DynamicPVP ?
