Unsure where to copy tokenSolved
You're instructions don't make sense to me.  I don't understand where the token should go.  You say copy the token into your plugin, but idk what plugin you're referring to.  The download link isn't for a plugin, its for a DLL file.  Can you please provide some clearer instructions as this is very hard to follow.

thanks
James
the link you have listed to follow is not working.. Can you PLEASE UPDATE THESE INSTRUCTIONS?
The installation steps are clearly provided on the plugin page: https://umod.org/extensions/discord#installation

The "token" is placed in the configuration whatever plugin you are using that utilizes this extension, not this extension itself.
Ah ok.. Thanks for clearing that part up, but the link pasted at the bottom doesn't work still.  idk how to get said information...
The part
"Now it's time to add your new bot to your guild! To add your bot to your guild you must visit the following link, and replace "botUserID" with the client ID found at the top of your Discord app settings page:
https://discordapp.com/oauth2/authorize?client_id=botUserID&scope=bot&permissions=8"
This page brings me to a discord page that says "Unknown_Error"...  For the life of me, i can't figure out how to make this work.
And to be honest, I can't find a Discord Client ID anywhere.. Does this mean my discord Username?

Thanks
James
Did you replace the botUserID with your own bot ID as the instructions stated? The "Client ID" is what you'd see when you created the bot.

No i didn't, because thats what i don't understand.  Where do i see a client id?  Is it what i named the bot?  I promise i'm not trying to be a pita... But swear i've read these instructions 20-30 times today, and i just can't figure out where to go.

So... If i'm understanding right.  The link i use to get the client id, needs me to replace the words "botuserid" with information i get from the link, that i can't get to without the information?  That can't be right...  I'm just missing something here... It must be simple, but its not smacking me in the face like it should...

When i created the bot i was given a token.. I didn't see a client ID anywhre.

The Client ID would be provided on one of the pages after creating the Bot on Discord's site from the provided link. I don't know which area it is on at the moment, but it should be shown there; so I'd just look around a bit.
So I put the DLL File in my "Managed" folder while my server was shutdown, started it back up and it told me in the console, "API Key is invalid" and I don't know where to put the API Key from the bot I created, I think it's called "Token" instead of "API". But since there's no config file for the discord DLL I don't know where to put the key so the Discord Extension works.. Can someone help?
