Keep in mind that players with Rust players can now send chat via the Rust+ app, which is likely what you aren't seeing in Discord.
In general though, there isn't anything to update as it is a universal plugin that isn't affected by game changes. Rust-specific code could be added to handle offline chat, but probably not the best solution.

Thanks for the reply, however, it's not just the Rust+ app offline chat that's missing, literally all chat is missing. We haven't had a single chat message reach Discord in 4 days.
