hey laserhydra! wasnt able to tag you but I hope you'll check this anyway :)

I would really like to see a option to limit my death notes depending on the different profiles used in botspawn.
Ive been talking with steenamaroo and he wouldnt mind helping you go thru botspawn so you dont need to put time in that to much.

would really appriciate this mate! keep up the good work

alright.

I use a lot of custom profiles bots as "bosses and minions", and since the bots are counted as scientists, having the kill feed on for all scientists spams the server way to much so I would like an option to limit so only certain profiles would get announced on death.
does this make any sense?

This would be pretty hard to implement as every user of botspawn has their own names for their bots whether they are named for the monuments or biomes they belong to or are custom bots with their own names , I prefer having the deathnotes notify me when my scientists or murderers are killed by players and vice versa, that is why i use the plugin,

Im in contact pretty much with the dev of botspawn and he told me that laserhydra could contact him if he needs help with it tho.

pookins, when you have a lot of scientists both from default profile and from custom profiles it spams the chat extremely much having that activated which I dont like BUT I do want my custom profile bots be optional to be announced on death

I realise that as i stated above I have over 350 bots as well as game scientists (which i consider a lot) and want all the deaths showing in chat/rcon which is what the plugin is created for.

What I can do is allow other plugins to cancel the appearance of a death message if the wish to do so, that would allow the Bot Spawn dev to hide certain messages based on your configuration.
But I simply can't add support for every plugin which offers some kind of custom bot or animal profiles.

alright mate, its nice that it works in the way you want ;) it does for me as well exluded the extra feature I want to it.

@Laserhydra I gave steenamaroo a pm with what you said and I'll get back here when he's responded if it sounds like something he would like to do, thanks man
