Upon editing the config to the exact specifications we wanted and reloading it on our server the config file keeps going back to the default settings every time and there's no error appearing in the console why is this happening?

read the server console for the json error message. the error is on the first line of the message, it will tell you what line in the config has the error

We weren't receiving error messages from the console. I apologize i forgot to update this thread the issue was our host providers panel kept losing connection continuously and because they were working on the box our server is located on it was not due to the plugin our panel just was not saving the information.
