So I made a custom vending machine using the instructions.... however I can not seem to figure out how to rename the vending machine itself. Probably a dumb question but how do I do this? I tried editing the name in the data file and via the register command but it still shows up as the same name on the map marker (Outpost Outfitters). I want it to be named "TestGen"

Unfortunately, I don't think it is an option at the moment, however I will look into implementing it in future.
