The items i craft dont even come close to half time.
Example, the double metal door is 30s and with the rate on 50 its takes 5s
Is this something that i can fix ?

Just tested this myself an I believe there is nothing to fix.
For your example:
Sheet Metal Double Door needs 60 seconds to craft, with a rate of 50 it needs 30 seconds.
But you also have to consider workbenches which also reduces crafting time if you craft an item lower than the workbench.
If the workbench is one tier higher -> 50% crafting time reduce.
If the workbench is two tiers higher -> 75% crafting time reduce.
This results in a crafting time of 7.5 seconds for a Sheet Metal Double Door in front of a level2/level3 workbench.
