Since the new update yesterday the buildings keep pasting under the ground 90% of the time

Came here just to post the same error. Autoheight feature doesn't work either, I have to manually set the height value through trial and error each time. Very annoying.
I'll have a look at that, maybe they changed some things with the unity update.

Ehh I can't really replicate the issue, I think you just mean that the autoheight isn't really working properly but that's been that way for ages now and not really worth it to fix it, I included the option to manually control the AutoHeight to make it a bit easier to paste something (then it doesn't make a huge jump when you use the height it used to do that making autoheight entirely useless) but besides that it's just a matter of playing around with the height parameter (one wall is 3 meters, keep that as a reference)
You could also use coordinates to calculate the height needed if it's a really big building so pasting it takes way too long.
But making an algorythm which can calculate the height correctly is a really difficult task and the one which is being used at the moment is kinda good but I'll maybe have a look at it and see if I can improve some things in it but not really a priority at the moment

At least if that's the issue you mean, so the height being of by maximum of like 10 meters. It also depends on the amount of difference in foundation height since it takes the maximum height of the ground and uses that as a reference. If I change anything I'll probably change that to use the mean or the median of the foundation heights.

Halfway under the map is just something you gotta fix with the height parameter, that's just the algorithm doing it's thing, it's only good at finding the best height for straight things, might work on that later on but not for now.

You sadly cant add peramiters if its in a kit. Maybe you and the dev of kits can figure something out?
I have auto height set to true, if this is set to true, I've noticed, if I paste a building on lower ground than when I copied it, it pastes under the ground. I have to set height 1 for it to show above ground.
This still dosent help if your using a building in a kit!
