Any time I try to paste to a specific position, nothing happens. Console says it was pasted but there is no structure. 

Please show the exact command you're using and if possible attach a link to download your data-file.

/paste X stability false position "x, y, z"
have also tried position x, y, z; position x,y,z; position "x, y, z" position "x,y,z" position <x, y, z>
Most variations return succesfully pasted but no structure appears.
