I installed this plugin and ran it on my server but when checking the data files, nothing was there for the mod. I'm not sure if I am supposed to run it or do some other command to generated them, but some help would be greatly appreciated. 

If I understand your question, you will have to use the copy command to copy bases then the data files will be created.
