Sure I know how to save a base and the correct syntax. But can someone confirm where I should be standing or what should I be looking at for the base to save correctly at the right spawn height?
standing on the lowest foundation of the base looking at the floor?
Lowest foundation of the base looking parallel to the floor?
Outside the base looking at the lowest part of the base?
Ect ect. If there a difference?is there a correct method?
How to save a Base?
I like to stand on a foundation block in the center of the base.
It only matters how you save the base, when it comes time to paste it. Doing the above suggestion, makes the process predictable and straightforwards.

does it matter where you are looking when saving? looking at the floor .looking parallel from the floor or at the ceiling? does it matter where you are looking when you save regarding the saved height position?
Yes, the <r|radius> option during "/copy" is relative to where you are currently standing. The mouse look will orient the save only based on 2 dimentions, your height and orientation (N S E W).

Thanks fella I normally stand on the lowest point of the base eg low foundation in a bunker.
