Possible to paste from a shared folder?Solved

hello, 

i just copied 20-30 bases from my 2 servers. (10-15 on each servers)
For the moment, it's easy to manage, but i can imagine when i will have 300 or 400 base copied, it's gonna be a big mess between my servers, my test server where i edit the base, etc..

I would love to have a share copypaste folder for my servers. specially for the /paste system.
so i was thinking about a dropbox folder where the plugin can dig directly on my list :)
Is it possible to do something like that ?

sorry, i'm not very good in english.

The data copypaste folder is on my server.
so 3 servers mean 3 different copypaste folders.
it can be very nice to have the possibility to have only 1 data copypaste folder, and to have to ability to share it with my 3 servers directly.
so in example, have the data copypaste folder on my dropbox, and the copypaste plugin will pick up my copied base file directly on my dropbox folder, and not on my oxide/data/copypaste

You can create a symlink if you have filesystem access. If you are unfamiliar with symlinks, there are a lot of tutorials around the net on how to set one up.

i don't have acces to the filseystem. i rent 2 server on low.ms, and 1 in local on my computer for my tests (for this one i have acces )
but i will take a look. never heard about this, seems very interesting.

There wouldn't be a way for this plugin to handle what you want then. You would need to have some sort of extension for Oxide or access to the filesystem to set up what you want.

What is your server type ?

If linux you could do this with "rsync" . There is even a version for windows
it will do between folders or been servers....
simlinks get real messy real fast...... ESP.... when going between users or disparate server accounts

I'm confused ....whats that got to do with it?
you are already "copy & paste" from local/remote folders & according to the site they have full FTP access.....
so.....  rsync on  YOUR local machine can access the folders on THIER machines via FTP or SFTP
