I tried all combinations.

Players have permission  colourednames.use 

I tried all combinations but some dont work and some make it lag/spit out this error.

Hey there, so I tried it with the recent version of BetterChat + ColouredNames and it seems to do what its ment to do for me. Combination 1 and 4 are the only valid ones. Are you updated on both ColouredNames and BetterChat?

Ok for some reason I was running an old version of BetterChat. Sorry I usually update right away but I must have missed this one so ignore it it's working fine.
