is the creator ever going to work on the plugin again or is it just a stale, work on a custom one....?

how can i least help fix this, who puts a OVerlay as a icon...it should have been under otherwise other plugins'closes do not work'
and its missing all the foods except th eold ones, ive already added them into the .CS
It actually appears that the current maintainer hasn't ever updated it, so marking it as unmaintained. The original author of this hasn't been around for a long time.
so how would i take over on it?

Generally taking over another plugin would need you to have an approved plugin of your own on our site, as sort of a way to show that you are capable of maintaining someone else's work.MrWolfRanger

Unfortunately it can be, but also helps ensure those interested aren't going to destroy the plugin from not knowing enough to maintain it. If you'd like to share a diff of your changes here though, we can take a look at it.
