The (amazing, thank you!) fix that went in regarding the problem below has now been changed:

Now, each blueprint costs 125 and researching/tech treeing one does not automatically give the other, however, when one is unlocked, the other is shared with the group.

So any way you learn them now they are separate blueprints?

Yes, they're separate now.

Both ladder hatches and grills still learn their counterpart when researched on a research bench in a vanilla server. They don't do it though in the tech tree so what I have done is made it so the tech tree unlocks both when either one is learned.
