That means your plugin is not complete, corrupt, or encoded wrongly; it isn't an issue with the plugin itself.

I'd suggest downloading/uploading it again, and making sure whatever you are using is not changing the encoding of it.

All 70 plugins would be unreadable then. ;)

Try one individually, and go from there in batches. Might be one messing up the compiling process as well.
