Is betterchat going to be working with the hardcore mode proximity chat after release? i mean that it would override it and i would not have to bother disabling the proximity feature?

Seems to writing "local" chat across the server.

Is there an update planned to utilise the Local chat restriction on Harcore mode, currently it is just transmitting globally?

Having same problem. Thinking about turning off BetterChat for now
