i have moved myself from the admin group multiple times, but i keep getting put back after a server restart, why is this happening?

Oxide handles that, not this plugin. If you have auth level 1, you are automatically added to the admin group.

I have auth level 2 and this problem began after this months update. Before i had no problems.

Sorry, I meant with level 2. It has been there for around 7 years and hasn't changed. It has been part of Oxide since then.

How come it just started after this update? i was never put in the group before that unless i added myself to it.

Would it stop putting me in it if i renamed the group to something else than "admin"?

No, the group is created automatically and all with auth level 2 are added each connect if they aren't already. The recent updates have not changed this and there is no option to disable it. The only ways to avoid it would be to either remove after each connect or don't give yourself ownerid.

I dont have an actual Admin group on my server as i like the Admin to be annonymous, I do have PlayerRankings @ Ankawi though and have created BetterChat groups for that , I can give myself Admin permissions and utilise the ranks to allocate permissions either for extra benefits or kits. I found that if you are shown as Admin you spend most of your time either explaining what is already shown in infopanel/welcome messages or help page , and being asked to be tp'ed somewhere, rescued from somewhere or supplied with something,
