Would it be possible to add the ability to rename oxide groups? It can be annoying to create a new group, copy permissions and re-add players.

This plugin is for chat modification, not Oxide group management. Something such as that can be added to Oxide directly.

understood. maybe i should have been more specific. i only mentioned it here because this plugin is a great tool for oxide group and user management.

Right, I think it just gets a bit confusing as users tend to think it is what actually provides the groups as well. You can set a title though, so renaming a group name shouldn't really be necessary. Though, you could use a plugin such as https://umod.org/plugins/group-migrate
