How can I udpate without resetting my configs and data settings?

The plugin? Download it and put it in the plugins folder, config and data is not changed unless you change them or otherwise specified in an update.

This isn't displayed in the main plug page list .. might be why noone knows its updated unless they look at this page ? idk about anyone else, but I can't see it, and I've looked and refreshed the page a few times. :D

You can "Watch" plugins for notifications of any and all updates. The "Newest" filter is cached, and isn't updated every plugin update at the moment.

I was caught out too, I "watch" every plugin that i use but there was not notification for this update, only knew when i checked for recent posts as i am waiting for a reply to a thread for this plugin,

Probably related to a couple issues I opened then, where notifications may not have been triggered. Sorry about that!
