As long as you're within a TC unauthorized area, the backpack will automatically close — whether it's generated by RustEdit or built by players. As long as you don't have permission, it will close.

My backpack stays open regardless of where i am until i close it, and what permission are you refering to ?

There is no permission/restriction in backpacks that relies on TC Authorization . you can raid a base and still open your backpack or in a safezone or wherever you are,
I was able to reproduce this issue in softcore mode. According to the Rust patch notes this month, this is a feature of softcore.
