since the wipe the items are no longer dropped on death on my servers

Unless others report this issue, I am going to assume this is just an issue with your server. Server owners often make changes at wipe time, which can cause unexpected consequences that are not the fault of the plugin or of Rust. Please see the FAQ section in the docs which provides troubleshooting steps for this specific symptom.

have a server network. on one server I have made no changes on the other a few but long before the wipe.
on both the same problem. have again tesweise the plugin and cfg file replaced and rewritten.

have now set up a new server only with permsmanager and backpacks. it still does not work for me. i don't know if i'm doing something wrong but it doesn't work for me even with a fresh server.

Posting your config might help, sometimes its just something that has been missed

i don't know where the problem was i didn't change anything in the cfg or anywhere else and it worked again ty @pookins for the help offer

i will say this my players have noticed it will drop most times and then randomly it wont
in that time frame nothing gets messed with.
