Conflict with Better Loot?Solved

Hi,

I use Backpacks and BetterLoot together and they have been working fine since I installed them both but after the 3.6.2 update to BackPacks where it now uses the generic_resizable loot panel it now refuses to load at the same time as BetterLoot.

When players try to use BackPacks it comes up with:
Missing Loot Panel: assets/bundled/prefabs/ui/lootpanels/lootpanel.genericlarge.prefab
UnityEngine.Debug:LogError(Object)
LootPanelContainer:CreateLootPanel()
LootPanelContainer:Update()

For now I have rolled-back to BackPacks 3.6.1
Any ideas?

Is your server fully updated? That change was for the latest Rust updates.

That error happens in Backpacks v3.6.1 because the plugin previously used the "genericlarge" panel which was removed from the game in the Rust update this month. Since the Rust update, you must use Backpacks v3.6.2 or newer, or players will face that error when opening their backpack.

The recent changes to Backpacks were also minimal and non-intrusive, so it does not make sense that they would have caused a conflict with Better Loot. What error do you see when trying to load Backpacks v3.6.2 or newer?

Server is fully updated, just tried updating it again to get that error -- but this time it loaded fine?
shrug

I tried unloading and reloading both plugins and then checked functionality -- all now ok.
How weird.

Thanks for the quick response anyway :)
